Sites

There are six allotment sites in Chippenham managed by the Chippenham Gardens & Allotment Society, the map below shows the locations. If you have any queries please email chippenhamallotments@googlemail.com.

At present there are six allotment sites situated in several locations around the town that are managed by the Garden & Allotment Society. The sites are in the following locations:

Cricketts Lane – Wardens: Phillip Westcott & Sarah Randall
Deansway – Warden: Alison Smith
Hardenhuish – Warden: Adrian Griffin
Hungerdown – Warden: Ian Meiklereid
Lords Mead – Wardens: Andy Bridgeman & Steve Grange
Ladyfield – Warden:  Kevin Thomas

Birds Marsh
A new site of around 70 allotments which should become available in 2024. On the north side of town close to the junction between Kilverts Way and the B4069 to Sutton Benger.

Cricketts Lane
Approximately 95 allotments on this site which is located on the eastern side of the town, off the London Road, on the western edge of the Pewsham estate.

Deansway
A very small site of 16 allotments just north of John Coles Park and the Malmesbury Road. No vehicular access.

Hardenhuish
52 allotments here. The site is on the Malmesbury Road, almost opposite the old ambulance station, close to the junction with Hardenhuish Lane.

Hungerdown Lane
A small site of 18 allotments, on the western side of the town, adjacent to Ladyfield Road.

Ladyfield
Another small site of 20 allotments, on the western side of the town, in Kingsley Road off Ladyfield Road, close to the Community Hall.

Lords Mead
A large site of approximately 95 allotments, in the Frogwell area, adjacent to St Peter’s Church and school.
